The Graduate School of Medical Sciences of the University of Groningen offers two dynamic programmes tailored to suit your academic and career aspirations! With a background in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Lifesciences & Technology, you’re eligible to apply for both our Research Master’s in Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology (MSc CPE) and our Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment (MSc MMIT).
In the MMIT programme, you’ll explore cutting-edge topics in molecular and translational medical research. From Immunology and infectious diseases to drug innovation and development, neurobiology, cancer biology, and cardiovascular diseases, you’ll have the chance to dive into the topics of your choice. Alternatively, in the MSc CPE programme, you will delve into the prevention, development, and treatment of physical and mental conditions. From Public Health to Health Psychology and Chronic Diseases, you’ll be immersed in innovative research methodologies and advanced statistical techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to choose between tracks in Health Systems and Prevention or Lifecourse Health Development, and shape your studies and research project around your interests.
