Safe collection and disposal of sharp, hazardous or infected waste becomes easy with the Sharpsafe® waste containers from Msh/Hospidex.
The Sharpsafe® waste containers from Msh/Hospidex are used for the safe collection and disposal of sharp, hazardous of infected waste such as needles, Petri dishes, syringes, scalpels, etc. They are resistant to impact and penetration and comply with DIN EN ISO 23907, TRBA 250 and AFNOR NF X 30-507. Sustainability is guaranteed by the improved, environmentally friendly production process which uses 100% recycled polypropylene (PP) for the container. The containers are watertight when vertical and feature a handle for safe transport. A large opening with a transparent inner chamber and an automatic closure prevent vapours from leaking into the ambient air. There are two closure positions with temporary and permanent locking. Depending on the type, the extractor is designed for insulin pens, Luer Lock and Luer Slip needles as well as scalpel blades. A distinct mark indicates the maximum fill level. A comprehensive label in multiple languages, containing all the relevant information, is permanently stamped onto the container.
The Sharpsafe® disposal containers are available in volumes of 1 l, 2 l, 4 l, 7 l, 9 l and 9 l (tall shape), 13 l and 24 l. They are supplied in dark grey with a yellow lid.
